The recent Glasspex India 2013 held at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Center March 20-22 in Mumbai, India, hosted more than 180 exhibitors from 22 countries and 3,347 attendees.
Exhibitors included Bottero, DSF Refractories, Emhart Glass, Grenzebach, Saint-Gobain SEFPRO, Shamvik Glasstech, K-bond, Hindusthan National Glass & Industries (HNG), Fosbel, Bystronic, Hegla, Glasproduktions-Service, Techno Trade Links and Zippe.
“The starting situation of the trade fair is optimal. India is one of the world’s fastest-growing markets, and the glass industry is a highly attractive sector,” says Werner M. Dornscheidt, president and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH. “A rise in livings standards in India has led to increasing demands in the areas where glass is becoming more and more important as a material.”
Messe Dusseldorf organized the event in conjunction with the All India Glass Manufacturers Federation (AIGMF) and the German Machinery and Plant Manufacturers’ Association.
“Glasspex India is a splendid exhibition and technical conference covering the highlights of the glass industry, as a whole, and interacting with key members of the industry during the show,” adds S.C. Bansal, president of AIGMF. “I am sure GLASSPEX INDIA will continue to provide the platform to showcase new technology, innovation and excellence to promote trade and investment in the Indian subcontinent.”
The next Glasspex India will be held March 13-15, 2015, in Mumbai.
