Lauren Plastics LLC, a division of Lauren International Ltd., has acquired ISO-Trude Inc. in Spring Lake, Mich., a plastics extrusion and engineering company.
“Part of our vision at Lauren International is to continually look for opportunities that allow us to be dynamic providers of superior products, services and solutions in a diverse spectrum of markets,” says Kevin Gray, CEO of Lauren International. “True to our vision, the new markets we have pursued and now serve have produced outstanding growth opportunities. The purchase of ISO-Trude allows us to scale operations both at the New Philadelphia location as well as at the Spring Lake, Mich., site. We are excited about the opportunity to provide expanded sales, service and manufacturing capabilities for customers at both locations.”
Chuck Laney, president of Lauren Plastics and Lauren Illumination, adds,“Our steady growth in new and existing product lines has caused a shortage of space at our New Philadelphia location. Given the challenges of those space constraints and demands created by ongoing business growth, the opportunity to join forces with ISO-Trude is a decision that makes good sense.” Operations from the company’s facility in New Philadelphia, Ohio, will begin merging with those in Spring Lake early in 2014. Craig Janusz, vice president of ISO-Trude, will oversee the management of the company’s Spring Lake facility.
“The ISO-Trude Michigan facility is the perfect solution for Lauren Plastics as our companies combine and expand,” says Janusz. “Separately, we have earned excellent reputations for product innovation and customer service, and we expect synergies among our companies to provide exciting new opportunities for growth.”
