GANA Energy Day Symposium to Feature Range of Experts

The Glass Association of North America’s (GANA) Energy Day Symposium, to be held as part of its upcoming annual conference, will feature a range of industry experts and leaders who will explore a variety of energy-related aspects of the glazing and commercial glass industry. The Energy Day Symposium will be held on Tuesday, February 4, at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista in Buena Vista, Fla., and the annual conference will run through February 7.

Speakers include Brendan Owens of the U.S. Green Building Council, who will discuss “LEED v4: How Will the Performance Be Verified?;” and Azizan Aziz of the Center for Building Performance and Diagnostics at Carnegie Mellon University, who will provide a session titled “Productive Work Spaces While Providing Energy Performance.” In addition, Owens and Aziz will participate in a panel titled “People-Friendly Buildings vs. Energy-Efficient Buildings.”

In addition to the Energy Day Symposium, the GANA Annual Conference will feature the GANA awards reception; GANA membership breakfast; GANA marketing town hall; “Pirates of the Caribbean” welcome reception; new professionals committee meeting; marketing committee meeting; protective glazing meeting; decorative division meeting; mirror division meeting; flat glass manufacturing division meeting; energy division meeting; laminating division meeting; insulating division meeting; and the tempering division meeting.
