GANA Releases “Green Aspects of Mirror” GIB

The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has released a new Glass Informational Bulletin (GIB), “Green Aspects of Mirror – The Reusability and Recyclability of Mirror Products.”

The new GIB provides updated information regarding the environmentally-conscious aspects of the mirror manufacturing process, as well as the reusability and recyclability of old mirrors.

“We hope that after reviewing this GIB, people will change the way they see mirrors,” says task group chair Sylvain Denis of Walker Glass. “We want people to think twice before just throwing out an old mirror.”

The GIB is available for download on www.glasswebsite.com. It is available at no charge to GANA members and for $5 to non-members.
