BEC Conference to Feature a Range of Presentations

The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has announced a number of sessions for the upcoming

Building Envelope Contractors (BEC) Conference, which is scheduled for March 16-18 at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

Richard A. Beuke, vice president of flat glass for PPG Industries, will provide a session titled “Anticipating and Managing Change in the Glass Industry.”

Mic Patterson of enclos corp. will lead a seminar titled “Face Change, Innovation and Rapid Technology.”

Nick DiDonato of Graco and Ric Schmidt of GLG/HH Intellitec will discuss the latest in installation equipment.

Tom Culp of Birch Point Consulting, who serves as GANA’s energy consultant, will lead a session titled “Codes, Standards and the Battle for the Wall.”

A panel comprised of Chris Giovanelli of Kawneer, Larry Carbary of Dow Corning Corp. and Steve Austin of 3M Company will discuss the benefits of different glazing systems, including a captured system, structured silicone and structural glazing tapes, respectively.

This year’s keynote presentation will be given by Ron Jaworski, an analyst for ESPN and former NFL quarterback. His presentation will focus on finding innovative solutions in the face of changing environments.
