Sunset Glazing VP and Co-Founder Passes Away

John Sullivan

John Sullivan, vice president and senior project manager for San Diego-based Sunset Glazing, passed away in January. He was 66.

Sullivan got his start in the glass industry in 1969 as an apprentice for Center Glass Co., where he eventually became a journeyman glazier and lead man. In 1980,  he co-founded Mesa Contract Glazing Inc., which later became Sunset Glazing. Sullivan initially served as vice president and field superintendent, until being promoted to his most recent role in 1990.

Sullivan retired from the company in December 2013, shortly before his death.
