Jim Ricci, director of marketing for PPG Auto Glass, has left the company, effective July 10. Company spokesperson Jeff Worden was uncertain of his future plans and Ricci could not be reached for comment.
Ricci, 48, joined PPG in 1976 in Davenport, Iowa, and was customer service manager for architectural glass products in Chicago, where he moved to the auto glass replacement business as truckload sales representative. He then became manager of best-demonstrated practices and then Chicago market manager. Ricci is a native of LaSalle, Ill., and a graduate of Augustana College with an MBA from Lewis University. He relocated to Pittsburgh when PPG Auto Glass was created in July 2000.Greenhalghs
Retire from Auto Glass Specialists
Jo Greenhalgh, vice president of interiors, and Tom
Greenhalgh, executive vice president of administration for Madison,
Wis.-based Auto Glass Specialists, have retired from their positions at the
company. Jo is the daughter of Bette and Robert Birkhauser Sr., the founders of
the company, and has been with the company for 30 years. Her husband Tom has
been with the company for 29 years.
Both will continue to hold their positions on the company’s board of
directors.

Castleberry Joins
Essex/ARG
Bill Castleberry is the new western sales manager for Dow Automotive/Essex
ARG. Castleberry previously served as sales manager for Burco Mirrors, and
before that, he was sales manager for Adco Products. Castleberry is responsible
for automotive replacement glazing product sales, service, sales development and
supervision in his new position.

Apogee
Names Deckman President of Harmon AutoGlass
Minneapolis-based Apogee Enterprises, Inc. has announced that Joseph T. Deckman, Apogee executive vice president, has been named president of its Harmon AutoGlass business. He replaces Robert E. Munzenrider, who resigned to pursue other interests.
Deckman joined Apogee in 1995 as president of the Apogee Wausau group, which included Wausau Window and Wall Systems and Linetec. In 1997, he was named head of the building products and services segment, and in 1999 became executive vice president, a title he will continue to hold.
Deckman has had responsibility for Harmon AutoGlass since becoming executive vice president, and temporarily served as its president in 1999 and 2000. Prior to joining Apogee, Deckman was vice president and general manager of several business units of Master Builders Inc.

Adam Born to Chris and Roxi Grahn
Chris Grahn of Novus Autostock International, and his wife, Roxi, recently
welcomed the addition of a son, Parker Adam, to their family on February 13,
2002. Parker, the Grahns’ first child, weighed 6 pounds and 8 ounces and was
19.5 inches long at birth.
