RAB Develops Floodzilla Light
RAB Electric Manufacturing Inc. of Northvale, N.J., has introduced “Floodzilla,” a compact, large-wattage floodlight for 250 and 400-watt metal halide and high-pressure sodium that can be used when working indoors or under dark conditions. Floodzilla is available with steel trunnion or integral slip-fitter mount for easy mounting and aiming flexibility, according to the company. It is also available with optional mounting brackets for aiming versatility.
The light is equipped with a die-cast aluminum frame and is available in a weather-resistant, polyester powder, architectural bronze finish.
AEGIS Unveils Panasonic Cordless Urethane Gun
AEGIS Tools International® LLC of Madison, Wis., has released its new Panasonic cordless urethane gun, PWR2005. The cordless caulking gun features variable speed adjustment that will let you adjust the flow to suit individual preferences, while its motor can produce 562 pounds of force. In addition, the PWR2005 can dispense both cartridges and sausage packs with just one barrel and its plunger can be changed quickly, according to AEGIS.
Sika Introduces Sikaflex® 220+
Sika Industry, which is based in Madison Heights, Mich., has introduced Sikaflex 220+, a cold-applied fast-curing polyurethane-based adhesive for bonding windshields directly to vehicle body shells (direct-glazing). According to the company, Sikaflex 220+ replaces Sikaflex®-200FC and Sikaflex-255FC by providing better application properties and faster safe drive-away times. The new product maintains the same user-friendly characteristics of the Sikaflex® and SikaTack® family of auto glass replacement products, according to the company.
“Performance, ease of use and safety are the key criteria for Sika products,” said John King, vice president of the transportation aftermarket business unit.
Sikaflex 200+ was crash-tested and passed FMVSS 208/212, according to the company.
