Cyr Leaves Novus; Returns to Association
Leo Cyr is returning to the National Glass Association, based in McLean, Va. as vice president of auto glass. Cyr will serve as the liaison to other organizations and will head up the association's efforts to work with state legislations on licensing issues. He previously worked for the NGA in the late 1980s. 

Bull Becomes Manufacturer’s Rep
Jeff Bull, former vice president of sales and marketing for Creative Extruded in Tipp City, Ohio, is striking out on his own to become an independent consultant and manufacturer’s representative. Bull's new company is called J. Bull Associates. He will serve as an independent manufacturer's representative for Dow Automotive/Essex ARG, and will cover the territory of Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan and West Virginia. He will be based in both Tipp City and Dayton, Ohio.

“I'm back in the bonding side of the business,” Bull said. “That's my passion—the safety part of [the 
business].”

Bull added that he will still serve as a consultant for Creative Extruded.

Cogswell Joins Diamond Triumph
Kingston, Pa.-based Diamond Triumph Auto Glass Inc. announced the hiring of William (Bill) J. Cogswell as senior vice president of sales. Cogswell has more than thirteen years of experience within the automotive replacement glass industry in various management positions.

Prior to joining Diamond Triumph, Bill Cogswell worked at Safelite Glass Corp., overseeing its network organization. Bill's previous experiences included managing National sales at Vistar as well as retail operations and sales at Globe/U.S. Auto Glass.

“We are excited to have Bill join our company. I have long respected the work Bill has done in the industry,” said Norm Harris, chief executive officer for Diamond Triumph. “Bill brings a wealth of experience to our organization and he will assist our management team in the pursuit of sales and marketing opportunities and the further development of our business.”
