Glass Technology, DataTranz Partner
Glass Technology and DataTranz have partnered to offer electronic invoicing for windshield repair businesses.
The partnership is designed to allow all Glass Technology customers to utilize the DataTranz Glass Shop software for electronic data invoicing (EDI) invoicing and management.

“Glass Technology realizes that processing insurance claims can be intimidating, time consuming and expensive,” stated Rory Most, marketing and sales director for the Durango, Colo., based company.
“Insurance invoice protocol is changing and many of the large insurance providers are asking for windshield repair businesses to submit invoices electronically rather than the traditional fax,” he added.

Fas-Break Adopts eDirectGlass Technologies and Services
Fas-Break Inc., the Arizona-based windshield repair and auto glass replacement equipment, supplies and services company, has adopted eDirectGlass technology and services.

In addition, Fas-Break also is distributing eDirectGlass technologies and services to its network of repair technicians and auto glass centers throughout the United States.

Fas-Break is offering AGRR repairers eDirectGlass Lite, an Internet-based billing and management system that is designed to improve productivity, billing compliance and workflow cycle time, and includes free EDI invoicing transactions, Internet website and email.

Gary Hart, CEO of eDirectGlass, said, “As the AGRR repair market continues to grow, it is important that all repair and replacement technicians are educated and receive the right technology. Fas-Break will assist repair and auto glass technicians in the adoption of eDirectGlass allowing them to easily understand and comply with the complex administrative and billing requirements now in place by the networks and insurers.”

“After years of comparing point-of-sale and billing vendors in the AGRR industry, we selected eDirectGlass,” said Kerry Soat, CEO of Fas-Break.
