Volume 9, Issue 3 - June/July 2007
“As a company, we have evolved into the realization that lessening our impact on the environment is simply the right thing to do,” says Mike Boyle, GlasWeld president. “We realize that tackling any worldwide environmental issue in its entirety is next to impossible, so we have narrowed down our vision to one thing that people can really get behind—the polar bear.”
As part of the partnership, GlasWeld is offering all its customers a free bottle of G Fusion windshield repair resin when they join PBI at the “friend” level. In other GlasWeld news, Boyle traveled to the International Auto Aftermarket Expo with the company’s Japanese distributor, Car Care Japan, to exhibit at the show.www.glasweld.com www.polarbearsinternational.org
After the second draft was made public, an additional public comment period was open through April 15. The comments from that period have been incorporated into the current version of the standard.

Each module consists of an introduction, objective, pretest and post-test.
“We’re very excited about the program, as it lets members train at their leisure, at their own pace, comfortably and affordably from their own offices,” says NWRA president Paul Syfko.
The association currently is looking for members to demo the program before its official launch.
In addition, the NWRA currently is planning its annual conference, to be held in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center November 1-2, 2007. www.nwrassn.org
Dwyer/Glass Doctor Joins NWRA
“I feel that NWRA membership will keep [Glass Doctor franchises] at the forefront in the repair portion of their businesses,” he says.
Paul Syfko, NWRA president, says the addition of Glass Doctor to the association is of benefit to the NWRA as well.
“By becoming a multi-level member, Glass Doctor is showing its franchises that it feels membership in the NWRA is a benefit to their business,” Syfko says.
