Glass America Promotes Edwards to VP of Business Support
Glass America has promoted Nathan Edwards to the position of vice
president of business support. Edwards reports to David Rohlfing, president
and chief executive officer of the company.
As vice president of business support, Edwards’ new role will include
managing the company’s Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standards (AGRSS)
compliance program, purchasing glass and related supplies, overseeing
vehicle fleets, call center operations
and Internet strategy.
Edwards joined Glass America in 2005 as part of the Auto Glass Service
acquisition where he had functioned as an IT Manager since 1998. He took
on the role of business analyst, and over the years his responsibilities
grew to include vendor relations, purchasing manager and field support
manager.
Rossey Joins Creative Extruded
Bob Rossey, formerly of Pittsburgh Glass Works (PGW), has joined
Creative Extruded Products Inc. as manager of the accessory business unit.
The move was effective July 6.
Rossey brings more than18 years experience in the distribution and marketing
of accessories to the company. He will be responsible for the development
and implementation of Creative’s Accessory Business Unit.
Rossey previously was the manager of sundry products for PGW, but was
laid off, along with several others, effective April 1.
NOVUS® Adds Gulf Coast Franchisee
NOVUS Glass has a new franchise in Stapleton, Ala. The new owners are
Addison and Mary Godwin, who are long-time residents of the Gulf
Coast area.
Before joining the NOVUS Glass organization, Addison Godwin owned his
own car dealership and was a skilled machinist. His wife, Mary Godwin,
is a local pharmacist at CVS.
