NEW HIRES

Justin McClain Joins ADCO Products 
ADCO Products Inc. of Michigan Center, Mich., has hired Justin McClain as the national accounts coordinator for its assembly, construction and distribution sales group. 

McClain brings many years of sales experience in industrial and automotive markets. He holds a bachelors of science degree in polymers and coatings from Eastern Michigan University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management.

Lyle Hansel Joins Winkhaus as Regional Sales Manager
Lyle Hansel has been named regional sales manager for Winkhaus North America Inc. headquartered in Whitewater, Wis. Hansel will be charged with managing and supporting the aggressive sales growth in the Midwest and key accounts for the company’s North American operations. 

Hansel has nearly 15 years of experience in door and window hardware to his position at Winkhaus. He was previously strategic account manager at Ashland-Amerock, a Newell Rubbermaid Company. There he rose through the ranks from senior sales engineer, to product manager, channel manager and finally strategic account manager. Hansel graduated at the University of South Florida and has a bachelor of science in electrical engineering.

Hansel will report to Winkhaus’ director of sales, Jim Roberts.

Silver Line® Windows Promotes Kathy Bloch 
Silver Line has promoted Kathy Bloch to the position of chief operating officer (COO). As COO, Bloch will direct all of the operating activities of Silver Line. Until a replacement is found, Bloch will serve dual roles as both COO and chief financial officer (CFO). In addition to finance, Bloch will also oversee human resources, information systems and purchasing in her new role. 

Shortly after joining the Silver Line team in 1997, Bloch was promoted from controller to CFO. As CFO, she actively directed the establishment of financial controls and budgetary systems, which have been critical in helping Silver Line strategically plan and monitor its rapid growth and expansion, according to information from the company.

TDCI Creates Two New Positions 
TDCI Inc. of Columbus, Ohio, has named Ron Eismann to the newly-created position of vice president of professional services. Previously a director, Eismann will lead a team responsible for customer satisfaction and referenceability resulting from the implementation and on-going usage of TDCI’s suite of software products. 

Mike Wilson has been named to the newly-created position of vice president of product management and marketing. Also previously a director, Wilson will lead a team responsible for the planning and positioning of TDCI’s suite of software products as well as overseeing all of TDCI’s corporate marketing and communications activities.

APPOINTMENTS

NFRC Announces Staffing Changes
The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) has announced several staffing changes. 

Bipin Shah, director of programs, left on June 1 to start his own consulting firm, WinBuild Inc. As a contractor, he will continue to manage the development of NFRC’s Component Modeling Program for nonresidential projects.

“As our longest-serving staff member, Bipin played a key role in building NFRC into the organization it is today,” said Jim Benney, NFRC’s executive director. “We thank him for his years of service, wish him well in his new venture and look forward to working closely with him to develop a valuable and useful new tool for the nonresidential sector of the fenestration industry.”

Maria Terezia Bulbuc is NFRC’s new director of education. A chemical engineer with a background in designing, building and managing testing laboratories, Bulbuc will lead NFRC’s efforts to work with and educate the design community, building officials; in addition, her background will solidify NFRC’s technical expertise with its members and program participants.

Benney added that Bulbuc will play an important role.

“We have heard loud and clear from our members and others that NFRC needs to improve its relationships with architects, specifiers, building officials and others who can benefit from our program and ratings. With her background, Maria will be able to jump right in, reach out to these important customers and serve as a full-time point of contact for them,” he said.

Jacqueline McCracken has joined NFRC as certification program coordinator. A Texas native with a background in production and quality control, McCracken will have primary responsibility for daily operations of NFRC’s product certification program. 

“Jacqueline’s experience as a production control analyst and her extensive work in quality control and compliance make her uniquely qualified to oversee the PCP,” said Benney. 

Scott Hanlon is the NFRC’s new laboratory accreditation program manager. An NFRC-certified simulator, Hanlon has more than 10 years experience in the fenestration testing industry, particularly in simulations and thermal testing.

ABC Window Co. of Ontario, Calif., has appointed Bob Raichle vice president of operations. In his new role, Raichle will oversee all day-to-day operations associated with ABC Window Co.’s manufacturing, installation and customer service departments … Dean Stewart is the new director of sales and marketing at Shawano, Wis.-based Heritage Veneered Products. In this newly-created executive-level position Stewart will develop and implement programs focused on market research, product development and branding. Stewart’s sales and marketing background spans 18 years … Alvar Diaz has accepted the position of Western regional sales manager for Edgetech I.G. Inc. of Cambridge, Ohio. His responsibilities will include sales and management of the company’s Super Spacer® products and systems in the Central and Western United States. In addition, Carrie Wilson has accepted the position of sales and marketing assistant for the company … St. Louis-based Huttig Building Products Inc. has appointed Timothy M. Rutzen as regional vice president – Midwest. Rutzen will have responsibility for Huttig operations in 13 states. In addition, Kenneth D. Kuehn has been promoted to the newly-created position of vice president – marketing and product management … Precision Entry and Sugarcreek Industries of Sugarcreek, Ohio, has hired Eric Cox for the position of sales representative in Northeast Ohio, Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York.
