COMINGS AND GOINGS Biesse Adds Western Territory Account Manager Biesse North America has appointed Fabrizio La Volpicella to the position of key account manager. In this role, he will lead sales efforts throughout the western territory, from Washington State to Arizona, Montana to New Mexico and all points between for the Charlotte, N.C.-based company. La Volpicella has been a part of Biesse’s sales organization since early 1994, when he served as an area manager at Biesse S.p.a. in Italy. He later was assigned to Biesse Asia, where he managed sales and dealer relationships in China, Korea and Japan. In 1999, La Volpicella assisted in the launch of Biesse Iberica, a subsidiary focusing on Spain and Portugal. Most recently, La Volpicella served as a regional sales manager for Biesse Canada. He was responsible for maintaining existing relationships, developing new business, leading the Ontario sales team and overseeing dealer relationships in Ontario and Manitoba. La Volpicella’s western U.S. sales team includes new territory sales representatives Lonnie Campbell and Todd Gomez. Amesbury Announces New Sales Manager for the Fastek Division Kline’s focus in his new position will be on developing and broadening Amesbury’s window hardware product offering. He will also lead the team in the development and execution of its marketing strategy as it relates to its new casement window hardware product offering. Sunrise Windows Adds Three New Territory Managers In his new role, Bussison will be responsible for the territory covering the five boroughs of New York City, New Jersey and the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Mills’ territory will be comprised of Georgia, Tennessee and the Carolinas. Kolkmeier is now responsible for the territory of Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Iowa and most of Wisconsin. Chelsea Names Dewil President and CEO Dewil has been with Chelsea for the past seven years, where he has held the positions of director of logistics, vice president of operations and chief operating officer. Prior to joining Oakmont, Pa.-based Chelsea, Dewil spent 10 years with its parent company, Tessenderlo Group, where he held various positions in finance and operations. Dow Corning Names Kempf Construction OEM Account Manager Kempf joined Dow Corning in 1997 and has worked as a plant controller and team leader, auditor and cost accountant. Most recently, she was the Building Materials Protection market manager for the Americas and Europe. ATech Has New Management Team In Cil’s new position, he will be responsible for managing and directing the areas of technical support and product development. Cil, who previously served as technical manager in charge of the Latin America and the North America regions, has been with the company for six years. DAC Products Announces Promotion and Addition In addition, Leslie Gannon has joined DAC’s sales staff. Gannon’s background is in the customer service field. LAMATEK Grows Staff Shawn Newman was promoted to product design specialist in April 2007. Originally hired in 2005 as a machine operator, Newman now designs custom products to customer specifications in his newest role. Chris Vu, initially hired as fenestration customer service liaison in June 2007, was promoted to cost estimator in February 2008. Cat Burns joined the sales department as marketing coordinator in January 2008. She will be responsible for organizing all aspects of LAMATEK’s marketing activities including the West Deptford, N.J.-based company’s print advertising, trade shows, direct mail and Internet marketing. Crystal Extrusion Systems Promotes Ziegler to VP Ziegler’s responsibilities include not only planning and managing all aspects of the company’s aluminum extrusion and new powder coat finishing operations, but also its sales expansion into new and diverse markets. Atrium Companies Expands Regional Leadership Team As vice president, Farris joins Atrium’s central regional leadership team of Art Steinhafel, central region president, and Jimmy Sisco, vice president of operations, for the Dallas-based company. Prior to joining Atrium, Farris served as vice president of sales for The Peachtree Companies Inc., a Schield Family Company.
