Looking for Manufacturers That Meet Look No Further

Although the U.S. Senate passed a bill in March that will tie the Internal Revenue Service’s tax credits for door, windows and skylights to the Energy Star® criteria, manufacturers continue to promote products that currently meet the .30/.30 standard—the current criteria used to determine tax credit eligibility.

The legislation was passed as an amendment to the Senate’s “tax extenders” bill, which passed the Senate on March 10 with a vote of 62-36. For more information regarding this bill go to www.dwmmag.com and search for .30/.30 in the “search archives” box.

We know dealers continually evaluate suppliers so DWM asked manufacturers who have product that meet the .30/.30 standards to let us know and they supplied the information on the following pages. However, be sure to check with the manufacturer for the entire list as in some cases a variety of products qualify and factors such as the glass package and the frame come into play, etc.
