Commanding Attention:
Let These Sites Inspire
When it comes to sales, companies need to grab their customers’ attention
and keep it. Effective, unforgettable marketing can do just that—think
Flo and her big, tricked-out name tag and you know exactly who the ad
is for. Window companies are not exempt from needs to grab attention.
In this new section we’re sharing some attention-attracting websites,
ads, brochures and other promotions that stand out.
Here’s a look at how one company is marketing the “future” of windows.
“Where will you be when vinyl windows die?” That’s the headline on the
home page of thv.com. Alongside
the headline is a tombstone that reads: “RIP Vinyl Windows.”
“For years vinyl replacement windows have dominated the market. THV is
at the forefront of tomorrow’s technology. Our composite window insulates
214% better than vinyl windows,” says the website.
At peakroofingcontractors.com,
a visit to the site is met immediately with a message from a customer
service representative, powered by TotalLiveChat. The rep says, “Hi, my
name is xx. How may I help?”
Visit replacementwindowsfordummies.com
and consumers will see articles on energy-efficient tax credits available
in various states, and other helpful information, but they also see information
from top companies such as Milgard, Jeld-Wen and Andersen. For example,
in one article Andersen representatives participated in a Q and A interview
and answered questions including: What are things homeowners should consider
when seeking a sustainably produced window?
