Ultra Hardware Offers Four Unique Decorative Hardware Lines
by Corrie Rath

Since 1987, Ultra Hardware Products L.L.C., located in Pennsauken, N.J., has built its reputation by providing quality products at competitive prices and exceptional service to its customers. To an industry which is constantly seeking improved and more diverse hardware selections, we offer four distinct product lines of decorative hardware—Eternity Finish™, Gainsborough®, Vintage Home Hardware and Premium finishes.

A Different Finishing Method
Eternity Finish is the most comprehensive and diverse selection of hardware in the industry. The secret behind Eternity Finish products is the physical vapor disposition (PVD) finish method of vaporizing and depositing high-purity ionized metals and gases onto the components’ surfaces in a vacuum chamber to achieve metal components that look like brass but are four times harder. PVD exhibits levels of adhesion that are unobtainable by means of wet electroplating. It requires no clear, organic topcoats that are routinely degraded by environmental conditions. And PVD is a 100-percent environmentally-friendly manufacturing process. The finish is so durable that it withstands outdoor wear and tear even under the harshest conditions —such as sun, rain, snow, ice, wind and even salt and sea air. It provides the highest resistance to abrasion, chemicals and even acid. This is why it can offer a lifetime warranty against pitting, fading, tarnishing, corrosion, discoloration or rust.

The Eternity Finish line includes grand entrance handle sets, deadbolts, kick plates, door knockers, lock sets, storm-door-lever handle sets, house numbers, letter slots, hinges, surface bolts, cabinet knobs and more than 100 SKUs in all.

Crystal & Porcelain Hardware
The Gainsbor-ough line of fine-quality interior-door hardware boasts high-quality genuine crystal and porcelain knobs on the market. Now with a lifetime warranty, Gainsbor-ough is a complete family of coordinating door hardware not offered elsewhere. With more than 240 SKUs, the line includes bed/bath, hall/closet and dummy lock sets, as well as bi-fold and cabinet knobs in a variety of styles and finishes, including the award-winning Sonata Crystal series made from fine crystal handcrafted in Europe. The Classic Porcelain series is double kiln-fired using the finest clay blends and glazes. Other styles include the Diplomat Brass series, Woodcraft series, Stoneware series, Leverline series and Metaline series. This wide selection of fine knobs coupled with a variety of back-plate finishes make the Gainsborough line diverse and fashionable in any décor, and they come clamshell packed in cut cases for easy set-up and attractive

Special Order Boards
The dealer has the option to display the line on special-order boards with little or no stocking to keep inventory investment and risk low. A very high-end, up-sell product line, Gainsborough gives the consumer the options to increase the value of his or her home as well as upgrade it.

Period Inspired Hardware
SPOLIGHT The Vintage Home Hardware collection is a unique line of period-inspired hardware that invites consumers to return to a classic age of elegant design coupled with contemporary functionality. The line is available in more than 140 SKUs crafted from solid brass or forged iron and available in a variety of finishes, including brass, black iron and satin nickel. The Vintage Home Hardware collection also includes lock sets, hinges, sash locks, door knockers, letter slots, push and pull plates, house numbers, door bells, door stops, coat hooks, electrical cover plates and more not usually carried by most distributors or dealers.

Popular Finishes
With more than 13 Premium Finishes to choose from, we offer a variety of home hardware in today’s most popular finishes, including satin nickel, pewter, oil-rubbed bronze, antique brass, satin chrome, polished chrome and stainless steel.

“At Ultra, we strive to offer dealers the premium hardware products their customers want at prices that will make them most competitive,” said Daniel Carpey, president of Ultra Hardware Products. “These four, distinct lines do just that, as well as give them a selection that most of their competitors don’t have—giving our customers the edge.”

The Eternity Finish, Gainsborough Hardware, Vintage Home Hardware and Premium Finish lines give dealers in-depth product choices from one source. Beyond these lines, Ultra stocks more than 8,000 SKUs, including a complete builder’s hardware program, door security products, cabinet hardware, padlocks, faucets and hand tools in its 2.5-million-cubic-foot warehouse.
