Mouldings
ResinArt offers DuraFlex Mouldings
DURAFLEX ResinArt of Fletcher, N.C., offers DuraFlex capitals in popular styles from 6 inches to 18 inches and offers an inventory of more than 6,000 moulding patterns as well as architectural moulding from wood samples. 

ResinArt can produce radius mouldings from its stock or make custom economical alternatives for radius installations because of its quality, flexibility and longevity, said the company.

According to the company, DuraFlex has the appearance of real wood but is insect-resistant, moisture-resistant and can withstand extreme heat and cold with little warping, cracking or deteriorating.

Windows
L.B. Plastics’ Window Series Redesigned for Coastal Standards

L.B. Plastics of Mooresville, N.C., recently expanded its 6700, 8168, 560 and 600 Sheerframe PVC windows series to include designs that satisfy the most stringent coastal applications for new construction and renovation projects. The product line includes price points from entry-level through mid-range and upper-level pricing, said the company.

According to the company, these new high-performance additions will allow a window fabricator to offer dependable aesthetic products to any market segment.

All of the products have been tested to AAMA/NWWDA 101/I.S. 2-97 standards, and each system carries a minimum rating of HLC-50 on both single and mulled units and some units boast an HC-50 rating, according to the company.

Lincoln Introduces New Double-Hung Window
Lincoln Windows of Merrill, Wis., is offering the W-V series double-hung window. The W-V double hung joins a full casement and awning line of both geometric and radius direct-set windows. The W-V option provides clear wood interiors coupled with PVC vinyl exteriors in white or sandstone. 

According to the company, Lincoln offers an array of sizes, options and custom capabilities in the W-V series as well as primed-wood and aluminum-clad products.


Doors
A&F Reintroduces Wood Door Series
A&F Wood Products Inc. of Howell, Mich., is reintroducing its 1750 series pocket door with the new Stanley hardware upgrade. As the second generation of the Korte family focuses on a high level of customer service, quality craftsmanship and innovative product design, the company says this upgrade shows its commitment to the customers’ needs and wants.


Heritage Veneered Products Offers the Tulip Poplar Style
Heritage Veneered Products of Shawno, Wis., is now offering the tulip poplar in its flat-panel series of the WOODPORT® brand of interior stile and rail doors. According to the company, poplar is natural-looking when clear-sealed and can be distinguished-looking when stained in darker colors such as cherry or walnut. 

The flat panel series is available in single and bi-fold configurations in standard widths from 1 foot to 3 feet and is available in three standard heights.

Window Wells
Bilco Offers Extension on Window Well
The Bilco Co. of New Haven, Conn., offers its ScapeWEL® window well, which adds living space to homes by letting natural light and fresh air into lower-level spaces while providing a code-compliant means of emergency egress, according to the company.

ScapeWEL window wells are now available with a deep-well extension to accommodate homes with deeper foundations, allowing even more homebuilders to use the system.

Decking
Trex Offers New Decking Design
TREXTrex Co. of Winchester, Va., has introduced new products and profiles that unleash creativity and complement Trex® decking and railing’s unlimited design possibilities, said the company. Trex introduces “Saddle,” a deep tan color that weathers only slightly while maintaining its rich tones. Saddle is a perfect addition to the other Trex colors of natural, Winchester grey, Madeira and woodland brown.

According to the company, Trex decking and railing is splinter-free, hassle-free decking lumber that needs no stains or sealants for protection.
Decking is available in new saddle color.

Siding
Crane Offers Siding Alternative
Crane Performance Siding of Columbus, Ohio, is offering its cedar shake and half-round shingles as a siding alternative. With a deep, rustic grain patterned directly from real-split cedar, new Portsmouth Shake™ half rounds offer homeowners strength and durability, said the company.
According to the company, Portsmouth Shake is made of durable injection-molded polypropylene, and its distinctive cedar wood grain covers not only the face of the panel but also the area under the profile edge, for a complete wood-shake look.


Brick Moulds
MW Offers the All-Vinyl Look 
An all-vinyl window with an integral brick mould—the Twinseal Brick Mould—is now available from MW Windows & Doors of Rocky Mount, Va. The windows feature a 3-inch frame, nailing fin and sash, all of which are made of extruded PVC construction and are fully welded at each corner. They are available as a tilt-in, single hung, as well as special architectural types. The windows come in white finish with ¾-inch warm-edge insulating glass.
