Gossen Corp. Offers Entry Door Jamb 

Gossen Corp. of Milwaukee, Wis., offers its TrimGuard™ exterior entry door jamb system, featuring DuraCap™ stratum film.

According to the company, the system is low maintenance; never needs paint, yet may be painted to match any color scheme; resists mold, mildew, rot, fungus and dirt build up; and is available in a variety of sizes and colors, including white, sand and gray.

Sill Uses New Injection Molded Substrate
Greensboro, N.C.-based Endura Products offers the Z-Plus, the next generation of its Z-Series product line. The Z-Plus sill, which the company says will not rot or warp, incorporates a new injection molded substrate design that gives a high level of support to the threshold and enhanced thermal-break characteristics. 

According to the company, mull boots are newly designed injection mold components that, when used in conjunction with Z-Plus sills, protect the wood components from water damage such as wicking, discoloration and warping.

Lauren Windows Offers Aluminum Clad Window

Lauren Windows-Double Hung Window Lauren Windows recently introduced its new Masterpiece Collection of windows. The Masterpiece Clad double-hung is a high-performance aluminum clad EZ tilt window with a hardwood interior. A variety of hardwood species including poplar, red oak, maple, cherry and ash are available. The exterior is extruded aluminum for ease of maintenance and is available in a variety of colors.

The Masterpiece Collection features PPG Solarban® 60 low-E glass with Argon gas filling and SuperSpacer® warm-edge technology as standard. According to the company, the unit features superior air and water infiltration performance and achieves a DP-45 performance rating.

Chemcrest Introduces FlexCraft Trim and Mouldings

Chemcrest Architectural Products of Winnipeg, Manitoba, introduces its FlexCraft flexible trim and moulding in either the Chem-Flex or EZ-Flex materials. These materials can conform to radius contours, arches and shapes for interior or exterior applications. 

EZ-Flex, which is made of a flexible, syntactic polymer compound, can be handled like traditional wood product due to its cellular structure. The company says this superior material ensures flexibility while replicating the features of wood to meet the most demanding installation needs of residential and commercial design specifications. 

All EZ-flex foam and trim mouldings can be installed using regular woodworking tools. With excellent nail and screw retention, these flexible mouldings are suitable for all types of jobs. According to the manufacturer, no steaming, slotting or cut and fill procedures are necessary when using this product.

Focal Point Introduces New Designs

In response to the growing demand for large medallions, Focal Point of Tarboro, N.C., has produced the Robyn medallion with a 51-inch diameter that features a starbust of acanthus leaves around a 4-inch center hole and a scalloped and ocean wave design extending to the outside rim.

The company also produces the Kaitlin medallion, which has a diameter of 24 inches with a 4-inch center hole and features a jaunty fruit and vegetable design.

According to the company, the medallions are made of lightweight, molded polyurethane that boast crisp detail and smooth, pre-primed, paint-ready surfaces.

Linde Introduces Lift Truck

Linde Lift Truck Corp. of Charleston, S.C., recently introduced its 39X hydrostatic drive 5,000-pound capacity truck. A product of engineering and sophisticated ergonomics, the company says the H25D/T represents a radical departure from all other engine-powered lift truck makes and models in its class.
