APPOINTMENTS
Liske Named New Media Planner
Weather Shield Windows & Doors of Medford, Wis., has recently named Corinne Liske as the company’s media planner.

Liske, a life-long Wisconsin resident, received her master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Liske has worked in the window manufacturing industry for seven years. She also serves on the board of directors of the Medford United Way and the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation.

CISCA Elects New Board Members
The Ceilings & Interior Systems Construction Association (CISCA) has elected and installed its 2003-04 board of directors. Kent Vipond, president of Eliason & Knuth Companies in Omaha, Neb., will serve as president. He succeeds Tom Edens of Bonitz Contracting Co. Inc. in Columbia, S.C. Ron Bishop of Elljay Acoustics Inc. in Orange, Calif., will serve as president elect and Michael Coakley of C.J. Coakley Inc. in Falls Church, Va., will serve as secretary-treasurer.

Joining the board are Phillip May of Center Brothers Inc. in Jacksonville, Fla., Jim Engler of the EMJ Cos. in Des Plaines, Ill., Don Harris of Rew Materials in Kansas City, Mo., and Charles Bubo of the Chicago Metallic Corp. in Chicago.

Marshfield Adds McFarlane
Marshfield DoorSystems of Marshfield, Wis., has added John McFarlane to its sales team. McFarlane, who is based in Jonesboro, Ark., serves as sales manager for the company’s newly created central territory, which includes Arkansas, Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana, Missouri, Tennessee and Kentucky. He has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Columbia Pacific University.

Plemmons Gives Birth to Son Edwin
Becky Plemmons, marketing manager for Marley Mouldings, and her husband Junior, gave birth to a son, Edwin Kyle Plemmons, on December 29, 2002. He was 6 pounds, 31/2 ounces, and 191/2 inches long at birth.

RECOGNITION
Delehoy Named “2002 Salesperson of the Year”
Precision Entry Inc. and its subsidiary Sugarcreek Industries of Sugarcreek, Ohio, recently named Gary Delehoy of Hutchinson, Kan., “2002 Salesperson of the Year.”
Delehoy has been with the company since April of 2001, when he opened a new sales territory in Kansas and parts of Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

According to Randy Albaugh, sales manager, “Gary’s methodic persistence has paid off in successfully building a new sales territory from the ground up. Precision has a targeted business philosophy of providing a high level of service to its dealers through regular visits by experienced sales representatives like Gary Delehoy.”

NAHB Honors Lazor with CGRA Title
Bill LazorBill Lazor, senior brand manager for Simonton Windows of Parkersburg, W.Va., has been honored with the designation of Certified Graduate Remodelor Associate (CGRA) 
by the Certified Graduate Remodeler board of directors, a division of the National Association of Home Builders.

“Bill’s work with Simonton Windows in developing and administering the Simonton scholarship program for the CGR and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist programs is critical in providing awareness of these designation programs,” said Vince Butler, the 2003 chairman of the CGR Board of Governors.

In addition to this honor, Lazor will co-chair the Remodelors’ Council’s Public Affairs Subcommittee in 2003. The goal of the subcommittee is to increase awareness and participation of associate members in the Remodelors’ Council.
