Haney Named New Gorell Customer Service Rep
Gorell Windows & Doors of Indiana, Pa., has a new customer service representative, Roger Haney. A former human resources associate, Haney will now assist company dealers and distributors in the ordering of windows and doors to ensure that the process is accurate.

Weather Shield Appoints New Director of Sales
Medford, Wis.-based Weather Shield Windows & Doors has named John Chamberlain director of sales. In this position he will oversee all national and international sales for the company. Prior to joining Weather Shield in 2002, Chamberlain was with Andersen Windows for 16 years, where he served in sales and managerial roles as well as in distribution.

The company also recently named Louise Ingman and Lindsey Widak to its marketing department.

Ingman is Weather Shieldís new event marketing supervisor. She received her masterís degree in quality and organizational leadership from Marion College in Fond du Lac, Wis., and her bachelorís degree in business administration from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wis. She previously held marketing positions at Sunrise Medical, a Green Bay advertising agency and the Kohler Co.

Widak is the companyís new communications project specialist. She received her degree in marketing communication with an emphasis in advertising and public relations from Emerson College in Boston. Previously she served as marketing director at Fairview Millwork in Bridgewater, Mass.

Taylor Building Products Brings on Four
West Branch, Mich.-based Taylor Building Products welcomes Brenda Klacking, Stu Howe, Robert C. Carnick and Harold Valley to four new positions with the company. Klacking is an eight-year human resource department veteran at Valenite Inc., a wear and corrosion resistant cemented tungsten carbide company in West Branch, Mich. She assumes the role of human resource manager and will serve as a liaison between management and employees at Taylor.

Howe has been named Taylorís new plant engineering manager at the West Branch facility. He comes to Taylor after more than 15-years as plant manager at companies that include Volvo Truck Co. in Dublin, Va., and Huffy Bicycle. He will be in charge of plant maintenance and manufacturing equipment support.

The position of manager of product and business development has been filled by Carnick. Carnick joins Taylor after nearly 20 years with Copco Door Co. in Detroit, and he will be managing the development for components and systems in both residential and light-commercial markets.

Formerly the director of engineering at the company, Valley has been promoted to general manager of Taylorís West Branch facility. 

Sunrise Hires New National Sales Manager
Sunrise Windows of Temperance, Mich., recently announced that Mike Roncato has joined the company as national sales manager. Roncato has 30 years in the fenestration industry, the last 13 of those in the window industry specifically.

He began his career as a canvasser for Taylor Building Products and eventually moved to Great Lakes Windows in 1990. By 1997, Roncato was a regional manager for Great Lakes, handling the East, Pacific and West areas and overseeing accounts that controlled more than $60 million in sales. In early 2003, he moved back to Michigan from Seattle and became Great Lakesí national sales manager. In late November of last year, Roncato made the move to Sunrise Windows as national sales manager.

In his position, Roncato will be overseeing the companyís sales division.

Morelock Welcomes New Sales Manager, Associate
Bend, Ore.-based Morelock Wood Products recently announced the promotion of Mike Kelso to the position of national sales manager. Originally hired as a local sales representative in May 2000 and promoted to regional sales manager in early 2003, Kelso has already helped grow the companyís hardwood flooring distribution to nearly 20 states. He currently manages customer relationships with nearly all of Morelock Wood Productsí national distributors, and will continue to work on developing new partnerships in identified regions.

Morelock also welcomes David Bryant to its direct mill source sales team. With more than 30 years experience in the industry, he has served in various sales and management positions.
