Young Offers a Moisture Compensating Return Tread
There is only one patented moisture compensating return tread available in the industry today. Young Manufacturing of Beaver Dam, Ky., designed it and patented it. A unique tongue-and-groove construction allows the tread to expand and contract by sliding along the groove instead of separating from the return, which the company says results in no more gaps.
The company has produced solid oak treads and risers for the finest American homes for three generations. Solid oak construction means the treads made 50 years ago remain as strong and beautiful as those produced today.
Distributors can choose from a full family of solid oak, maple and poplar treads and risers, featuring Young’s patented moisture compensating return tread.
