Windsor Mill Names Sitton Director of Sales Operations
Windsor Mill of Windsor, Calif., has named Gregg Sitton as director of sales operations. In his new position, Sitton will work closely with the sales and marketing directors, operate and oversee the sales operations and participate with marketing and business development opportunities. He will implement sales and marketing goals and detailed plans for the business.
Prior to joining Windsor Mill, Sitton worked with Bosch Tool Co. of Mount Prospect, Ill. for nine years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Negwer Materials Adds Underwood as Yard Manager
Jody Underwood has joined Negwer Materials Inc. of St. Louis, as a yard manager for the company in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Bringing to Negwer more than seven years of experience in outside sales, Underwood is responsible for the company’s growth and expansion in the southeast Missouri market. As yard manager, Underwood will oversee all yard operations, including safety, sales, human resources and accounting.
Prior to joining Negwer, Underwood held sales positions with Thompson Culvert Co., Ceiling Supply Inc., Auto Trim Design and Wilson, USA. Underwood holds a bachelor’s degree in agri-business from Southeast Missouri State University.
The company has also promoted Tom Brennan to general manager for central Illinois.
Based in Peoria, Ill., Brennan will oversee all yard operations for the company’s Illinois locations in Springfield, Decatur, Urbana, Bloomington/Normal and Peoria.
Since joining Negwer in 1986, Brennan has worked as a salesperson and Illinois sales manager. With 24 years of experience in sales and management, he previously worked as a salesperson for Celotex and Oakite Chemicals.
Royal Mouldings Limited Names Art Ramey President, COO
Arthur J. Ramey has been named president and chief operating officer (COO) of Royal Mouldings Limited of Marion, Va.
Ramey has been an employee of Royal Mouldings for 31 years and has held various sales and marketing positions during that time. Under Ramey’s sales and marketing leadership, the company says it has had successful growth over the years by making a conversion from a wood moulding company to plastics, introducing new products, entering new markets and creating brand recognition for its products.
Previously, he served as president of Donner Mouldings and Millwork. Ramey will assume responsibilities for the day-to-day activities of the company.
The company has also appointed Rick Persing to the newly-created position of inside sales manager. Persing will coordinate production, oversee the customer service department, and oversee shipping and special initiatives to better serve customers.
Also in a new position is Matt Maglicic, who has been appointed as district sales manager for Ohio and the Mid-Atlantic states. In his new capacity, Maglicic will be responsible for the sales growth of the Royal Crown Limited brand throughout his area. He will direct efforts towards maximizing sales of all product lines while providing attentive service to current and new customers’ needs in decking, fencing, railings and decorative columns.
Huttig Building Products Appoints Jon Vrabely Vice President and COO
Huttig Building Products Inc., based in St. Louis, has promoted Jon P. Vrabely to the newly-created position of vice president and chief operating officer.
Vrabely, who most recently served the company as vice president of operations, will continue to be responsible for all branch sales and operations, in addition to assuming responsibility for corporate national accounts, marketing and product management. He will report directly to Michael A. Lupo, president and chief executive officer.
Prior to joining Huttig, Vrabely held several management positions with WESCO International Inc., a distributor of electrical supplies and apparatus. He holds a degree in marketing from San Diego State University and a master of business administration in business management from the University of Redlands.
Huttig also reported that Carl Liliequist, executive vice president, has resigned to join a pro-dealer company in Hawaii.
“We thank Carl for his 28 years of dedication and contributions to the success of Huttig, and we wish him well,” said Lupo.
