New Hires
Bilco Hires New Customer Service Manager
The Bilco Company, a specialty access products provider in West Haven, Conn., has appointed a new customer service manager for its residential product line. Pamela Greulich will be based at the company’s new facility in Zanesville, Ohio, where she will oversee all aspects of service for its residential product customer base. Greulich also will supervise the customer service staff in the Zanesville facility and participate as a member of the company’s Residential Products Value Stream team.

Prior to joining Bilco, Greulich served one year as branch manager for Securitas Security Services in Hilliard, Ohio, where she provided strategic direction and leadership for South Central Ohio branch locations. She also worked at Sonitrol of Central Ohio in Westerville for 14 years in positions including: account coordinator, central station supervisor, customer relations manager and, most recently, installation and service coordinator. She earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Ohio State University. 

Mobile Lumber Hires New Store Manager
Kurtis Owen
recently joined Mobile Lumber and Millwork in Gulfport, Miss., as store manager. Owen has more than 15 years experience in the construction and store management fields. Mobile’s Gulfport branch opened in 2001 and offers a complete line of building products. The company’s other Alabama locations include: Mobile, Daphne, Grand Bay and a millwork and truss plant in Bay Minette. Mobile also has a facility in Pensacola, Fla.

APPOINTMENTS
ABC Appoints Luck CEO
ABC Supply Co. Inc has appointed David A. Luck chief executive officer. Luck joined the Beloit, Wis.-based building products distributor as its president and chief operating officer in July of 1998. ABC says he also will continue in his current role of company president.

ProBuild Names Bernardoni Senior Vice President of Manufacturing
ProBuild Holdings Inc. recently appointed Lonnie Bernardoni to the position of senior vice president of manufacturing. In his new role, the Denver-based building materials supplier says Bernardoni will be responsible for overseeing its manufacturing activities. 

“Component and millwork manufacturing capabilities are a critical element in Pro-Build’s strategic growth plan,” says Bill Myrick, ProBuild’s president of strategic initiatives. 

Most recently, Bernardoni served as corporate vice president of new product introduction for Motorola. During his 18-year tenure with Motorola, he also served as vice president of supply chain, manufacturing operations manager, plant manager and manufacturer process engineer. He held positions in both domestic and international Motorola facilities.  

Bernardoni received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana. He and his wife will relocate to the Denver area. 

PROMOTIONS
CMI Promotes Fancher to Managing Director
CMI, the Chicago-based manufacturer and marketer of CraftMaster Interior Doors, MiraTEC Treated Exterior Composite Trim and Extira Treated Exterior Panels, has promoted Steve Fancher to managing director of CMI, Europe and Asia. The company also has appointed him to its lead management team.  Fancher is responsible for all export activities of CraftMaster brand products in Asia and Europe and oversees all commercial aspects of the company’s recent equity investment in Jilin Fudun Timber Company Ltd.

Fancher is an 11-year veteran of CMI and has served as sales manager, Japan and Korea; export manager, Europe; and sales manager, Masonite Formtec Korea. He reports directly to CMI’s president and chief executive officer, Bob Merrill.

“Steve is a seasoned executive who has proven to be an excellent strategic leader for our international business,” Merrill says. “In particular, he has been instrumental in growing our CraftMaster interior door export business in Europe and Asia. In an increasingly competitive and diversified global marketplace, Steve’s experience is a significant asset that will help us further grow our interior door business and also pursue new opportunities through our relationship with Fudun.”

Fancher graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in economics and he has completed additional training in sales management, financial management and leadership.
