Machinery
Make
Fuel out of Wood
Laidig Industrial Systems offers a solution to silo/bin hang-up problems. The
Model 4300 Series has a cone-bottom unloader, which has a sweep auger rotating
360 around the bin. This helps create mass flow and enhances first-in-first-out
(FIFO) flow. The series handles a variety of wood residue including wood chips,
saw dust and shavings for both process and for fuel.
In addition to the complete line of cone-bottom models, the Mishawaka, Ind.-based
company offers an entire family of heavy-duty flat-bottom unloaders and can be
installed into a new or existing silo/bin.

Exterior Products
Select Trimboard Line Stands Up to Weather
Gossen Corp. of Milwaukee has introduced a new, versatile line of stock board
for exterior use, especially where weather resistance is important.
The Gossen Select PVC Trimboard can be used for fascia, soffit, rake, frieze,
window and door trim - anywhere a non-structural wood product would be used.
The product holds up against extreme weather conditions, and exceeds the 308-04
cellular PVC standard of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association.
Smooth-edge technology is used on all four sides of the trimboard, with one
side of the board having a totally smooth surface and the opposite side having
a smoothened wood-texture appearance. The four finished sides provide smooth exposed
edges with no absorption. The product was developed to maximize contact with masonry
or galvanized metal.
