GlassBuild America

September 10-12, 2007, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga., GlassBuild America is scheduled to draw more than 9,000 attendees.

The event will bring together more than 400 exhibiting companies from the glass, door and window industries and feature live residential window installations, commercial glazing installations, and much more. A Container Glass Pavilion, featuring hollow container glass equipment and supplies, has been added to this year's event, where exhibiting companies will present new technologies and services to visitors from all segments of the industry.

Microsoft, in partnership with GTS, a business management software provider for the glass industry, will display the latest technologies in a 42-foot demonstration truck. The companies say they have teamed up to bring the glass industry easy-to-use business software that helps manage the changing market demands that face the industry today.

The event is organized by the National Glass Association, in partnership with the Glass Association of North America, the American Architectural Manufacturers Association, the Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance and the Bath Enclosure Manufacturers Association.
