Cadillac Plastic of Troy, MI, a business unit of M.A. Hanna, has named G. Michael Buchen, who was previously with Payless Cashways, Inc., as its president. "Michael Buchens seasoned experience in sales, distribution and supply chain management will be a valuable asset as we complete our transition to a more modern logistics system with five new area distribution centers and 50 customer service locations supported by two call centers," said Kent J. Darragh, senior vice president of operations for M.A. Hannas rubber and shapes distribution and Buchens predecessor.
Techniform International based in Rialto, CA, has announced the appointment of Brian Jensen as estimating/ planning manager and Craig Carlson as program manager for Southern California. Jensen, who has more than 14 years of industry experience, will be responsible for project coordination and integrating company-wide automation control of all customer orders and production processes. Carlson, who was formerly with Angeles Metal Systems, will be responsible for business development and customer service.
Truth Hardware of Owatonna, MN, has announced additions to its sales and marketing teams. The company has added Alan Culpepper as national account manager, Jose Montero as its new product manager, Karey Billingsley as product coordinator and Mike Willinganz and Stephanie ODell as members of its inside sales staff.
P.H. Tech, Inc, of Quebec, ON, Canada, has announced the promotion of Michael Celmer to vice president of sales and marketing for the United States. Celmer, who has been with P.H. Tech for more than nine years, will be responsible for the development and implementation of the companys sales and marketing strategies.
Vistawall Architectural Products of Terrell, TX, has announced recent departmental promotions and additions. Ray Robillard has joined the project management team at the Newnan, GA, facility, while Chris Delong was promoted from engineer technician to estimator and Elisa Duncan was hired as an estimator trainee. Bruce Clark was hired to serve as the product manager for Naturalite in Terrell, TX. In Houston, William (Lance) Greer was added to the customer service team and Keith Sayers was promoted to the customer service department. Finally, Kenny Peterson was named the sales representative for Minnesota and the Dakotas.
Progressive Hardware Suppliers, LLC of Warren, MI, has added John Schneider and Scott Motz to its staff. Schneider will serve as international technical support president, while Motz will lead overseas and domestic marketing.
Granite Glass and Fence of Granite City, IL, has hired Matthew E. Meibers as its glass division manager. Meibers, who formerly owned and operated a glass contracting and fabrication company, will be responsible for new construction sales and estimating, as well as daily oversight of the glass division.
Visteon of Dearborn, MI, has appointed Paula Winkler-Doman as its vice president and general manager, glass systems. Doman, who holds the highest position ever held by a woman in the glass industry, has been with Visteon and Ford Motor Company for 21 years. She most recently held posts as operations manager, climate control systems division and plant manager, Sheldon Road Plant. Winkler-Doman will report to Robert Womac, executive vice president, Visteon. The company also announced other changes in its management team. Reporting to Craig Muhlhauser, future president, will be Alexander J. Preston and James B. Smith III. Preston, who was named vice president, Supply and Process Leadership, was formerly director, Process Reengineering, Smith, the vice president, Business Planning and Strategy, was vice president, New Market Development.
