Bhat Named Market and Technology Development Manager for Essex
Dr. Shailesh Bhat has been named market and technology development manager for
Dayton, OH-based Essex ARG. His responsibilities will include all automotive replacement
glazing, technology development, research and development and technical services
management and activities relating to new product development.
Bhat was responsible for domesticating and commercializing the Betaseal U-216
two-component urethane adhesive. He has a PhD in polymer science and engineering from the
University of Akron, a master of science degree in biomedical engineering and a bachelor
of science degree in chemical engineering.
Steffke Joins Collex Collision Experts
Harvey Steffke has joined Collex Collision Experts of Clinton Township, MI, as
its business development manager. He will be responsible for further development of the
company’s insurance business on behalf of both individual and commercial customers.
Previously Steffke worked at Guardian Auto Glass for 15 years.
Hiawatha Inc. Adds to Sales Department
Bloomington, MN-based Hiawatha Inc. has added Marc Merrill to its sales
department. Merrill has two years experience in architectural specialty products. He will
be working with architects, representatives and distributors in the commercial
construction market.
Crago Named Director of Marketing and Sales
Madico Inc. of Woburn, MA, has named Garry Crago its new director of marketing
and sales. Madico says Crago brings industry knowledge and a new business philosophy to
the company. He will be responsible for the marketing and sales of all divisions with a
concentration on window films, graphic films and customer service, according to the
company.
Besten Appoints Marketing Manager
Don Covel has been appointed marketing manager for Besten Inc. of Cleveland, OH.
The company recently created a separate department to handle marketing efforts. “Don
brings over ten years experience in business development from the software marketing and
distribution sales industries,” said Tod Oliva, vice president.
