Moduline Offers Facade VentModuline Window Systems, part of the
Vistawall Group, offers the Facade Vent to create a streamlined facade by hiding an
operable window behind a single exterior frame. The facade is created through the use of
narrow equal fixed and operable sightlines, uniform in all directions. The use of
structural silicone glazing enables the use of less, narrow aluminum extrusion profiles,
and the perimeter framing takes fixed glazing and operable vents without inserts or
overlaps, according to the company.
Features of the product include a sash-applied bulb gasket/glass edge protector with
molded corners, wet glazing with silicone cap, inside bead glazing on the fixed units,
integral stacking mullion and a monumental thermal barrier.
Protection Screen Provides Level of Security

A new commercial protection screen has been designed to provide a greater level
of protection from projectiles and vandalism than an unsightly security screen. TRACO of
Cranberry Township, PA, has introduced its new TR-20 protection screen frame, which is
made from tubular aluminum to resist impact. The screen frame adapts to all hung and
slider products and comes standard with a continuous extruded top hinge. The corners are
fabricated and fastened with stainless steel tamper resistant screws, according to the
company.
