International Aluminum Announces Management Changes
International Aluminum Corporation of Monterey Park, CA, has made several upper
management changes within its Aluminum Extrusion Group. John Collins is the new executive
vice president of the division. He has 29 years of experience in the industry.
Martin Mazurski has accepted the new position of director of continuous process
improvement. He has 27 years of experience in process control within the aerospace
industry.
Larry Hamer has been named to the new position of vice president of sales and marketing.
He has 30 years of experience in commercial construction sales.
Robert Dunn has been appointed operations manager of International Extrusion Corporations
Waxahachie, TX, plant.
Bob Groner is the new operations manager of International Extrusion Corporations
Alhambra, CA, facility.
Commercial Plastics Hires Several New Employees
Commercial Plastics & Supply Corp. of Boca Raton, FL, has announced the
addition of several new employees.
Craig Hampton has been named vice president of marketing. He will be responsible for
managing marketing for the companys distribution centers. He has more than 20 years
experience in the plastics industry.
Carlos Bennett has been appointed branch manager of the Gardena, CA, service center. He
will be responsible for implementing marketing plans, coordinating stocking programs,
maintaining existing business and starting new accounts. He has more than 12 years
experience in the plastics industry.
Chris Laughlin is the new branch manager of the Kingsport, TN, facility. His
responsibilities will include directing the sales personnel and increasing profits.
Brian Brandt and Bill Hertsenberg have been named engineering plastics product managers.
Brandt will train sales personnel and expand the engineering/mechanical plastics business
in Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean. Hertsenberg will coordinate engineering/mechanical
plastics sales for ten midwest sales offices.
Baum Named Sales Manager

Larry Baum is a new national sales manager for Azon Industries of Kalamazoo, MI.
He will work with the companys sales force to further develop the market penetration
of its Warm-Light® insulating spacer bar for glass in North America. Previously, he
worked for eight years as a territory manager for Schlegel Systems.
PROMOTIONS
AFG Names Executive Vice President

Kingsport, TN-based AFG Industries Inc. has named John Litzinger executive vice
president. Formerly the vice president for manufacturing, he will be responsible for the
companys nine float plants, corporate engineering, technical development,
information systems and technology, Poma operations and coating development and
manufacturing. Litzinger has been with AFG since 1978.
CRH Reorganizes
CRH plc of Dublin, Ireland, has announced changes effective January 1 to
Oldcastle, its North American holding company. Oldcastle has been reorganized into two
groups, materials and products and distribution. The products and distribution group will
incorporate the current precast, architectural products and glass and distribution groups.
Liam OMahony has been appointed CRH chief executive. He is currently the CRH chief
executive designate and Oldcastle chief executive.
Tom Hill, president of the materials group since 1991, will now serve as chief executive
of the group. Mark Towe, the materials group chief operating officer since 1997, will
assume Hills previous role as president.
John Wittstock has been named chief executive of the new products and distribution group.
He is currently president of the glass group. Ted Hathaway, the current chief operating
officer of the glass group will take over Wittstocks role as president.
Apogee Creates New Positions

Apogee Enterprises Inc. of Minneapolis, announced the promotion of two executives
to new positions created to lead the growth of the companys recently redefined
business segments. Larry D. Stordahl is the new executive vice president of glass
technologies and Joseph T. Deckman is the executive vice president of glass services.
Stordahl, who has been with the company since 1998, will be responsible for Viracon,
Viratec, TerraSun and Tru Vue. Deckman joined the company in 1995 and will head up the
glass services segment.
Harmon Promotes Podbelski

Lou Podbelski has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing for
Harmon Inc. based in New Brighton, MN. His responsibilities will include strategic
planning, sales management and training, internal and external communications, risk
analysis and customer relationship management. Podbelski has been with the company since
1989.
