EFCO Makes Design Decisions Easier
Making preliminary product selections in the design phase may now be easier
since EFCO Corporation of Monett, MO, has introduced its architectural guide. The resource
is divided into projected, hung, sliding, fixed and special purpose windows, doors,
storefronts and curtainwall product categories. According to the company, each product
description includes a detailed overview of the product, performance data, typical
elevations and details as well as hardware options. EFCO also says products are
cross-referenced to its Architectural Reference Manual CD-ROM, product catalog and
website.
The company has also released an updated product catalog which features the companys complete line of architectural windows, curtainwalls, entrances and storefronts.
Guardian Features Sun-Guard®
Guardian Industries Corp. of Auburn Hills, MI, has a new brochure featuring its Sun-Guard series of solar control coated glass. According to the company, these products have the performance, color uniformity and quality characteristics of sputter-coated glass with the durability and flexibility of pyrolytic coated glass. The series is made up of three reflective products and a low-E product.

Architectural Glazing Systems Inc. (AGS) of Avon, MA, has released a new
brochure detailing its fabrication services which include standard entrances, custom
storefronts, curtainwalls and slope glazing. The brochure features its three basic
aluminum stile doors: narrow, 3½-inch medium and 5-inch wide. According to the company,
its doors are available in a wide variety of custom colors, sizes and styles.
AGS also offers vent, hopper, casement and fixed Rebco windows featuring heavy duty corner keys with mitred corners, white bronze hardware and double weather-stripping. The company says its 2 ½-inch deep Series 25000 window has been tested and rated at P-HC80 and its 2-inch deep Series 2000 window is rated P-HC40.

Precision Technology Center in Lake Mary, FL, has published a new brochure describing its lines of machinery and associated products for cutting glass and other non-metallic materials. The companys Zero Width Cutting Technology (0WCT), which is a method of cutting and splitting non metallic materials in which the shape, direction, depth, speed and accuracy of the crack are closely controlled, is fully described, featuring full-color illustrations of machinery and equipment.
