Pilkington North America’s Ottawa, Ill., branch was featured October 25 on Michael Holigan’s television show, “Your New House.” The show, which aired on the Discovery Channel, included a preview of the production of float glass at the Illinois plant. In addition, the program featured a segment on Pilkington’s newest energy-efficient products, including its Energy Advantage™ low-E glass and Solar E™ low-E glass. Show moderator Steve Easley spoke with float glass line manager Ian Rogers as the show offered an informative look into the glass manufacturing plant.
