Art Glass Show Swings into Nashville
Music City will welcome the Art Glass Show 2002, June 28-30 at the Nashville Convention Center.

NASHVILLECAPITAL The 2002 Art Glass Show will take place in Nashville, Tenn.

“We will have more than 170 booths displaying fantastic art glass products, and more than 200 hours of educational classes for attendees,” said Bill Bird, event manager. “The [more than] 200 attendees will be the first to see the new glass colors and textures, the latest artisan patterns and new equipment design.”

The Art Glass Show is sponsored by the Art Glass Suppliers Association.

Window Film Industry Heads South
The window film industry and its counterparts in the glass industry will head south in April for the third annual International Window Film Expo™ (IWFE). The event, which is co-sponsored by Window Film magazine and the International Window Film Association, will be held April 18-20 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., at the Radisson Bahia Mar Beach Resort.

The three-day event will kick off with golf and tennis tournaments before it goes into full-swing educational mode on April 19. Seminars will be held on a variety of topics, including the impact of building codes, attachment systems, understanding energy conservation and using it to your selling advantage, how to get into the window film business and the latest trends in architectural glass. In addition to these educational opportunities, the IWFA will offer its accreditation courses and exams throughout the IWFE.

A trade show will also be held, giving exhibitors a chance to show off their latest product launches.
