AFG Industries Announces New General Counsel
AFG Industries of Kingsport, Tenn., has announced the appointment of Chris
Correnti as its new general counsel.
Prior to this position Correnti served as associate general counsel/corporate
environmental compliance manager for AFG, and has been responsible for environmental
issues for eight years. Prior to joining AFG, Correnti practiced law for nearly ten years
with the Kingsport law firm of Moore, Stout, Waddell and Ledford.
He earned his law degree from Wake Forest University and his undergraduate degree from
Gettysburg College.
Sturma Appointed Bostik Findley's New Territory Manager
Richard Struma
Bostik Findley, based in Middleton, Mass., has appointed Richard Sturma
to the position of distribution group territory manager, responsible for sales of
industrial products across a three-state region.
Based in the Los Angeles area, Sturma oversees sales and related marketing throughout
California, Arizona and Nevada.
Groves Named to Glazers Choice Board
Hank Groves
Hank Groves of Groves Incorporated, based in McHenry, Ill., has been elected to
the board of directors of Cleveland-based Glazers Choice Inc. Groves, who founded C.
Guther Co., said he is excited about his new affiliation with Glazers Choice.
"I have missed my involvement in the mirror mastic business since selling C. Gunther
Co. in 1994," Groves said.
Juba Aluminum Expands Management Staff
Juba Aluminum Products Co. Inc. of Concord, N.C., has recently expanded its managerial
staff.
The new appointments are: John Juba, chief executive officer; Janna
Juba Riley, vice president of internal operations; Johnny Ray,
vice president of field operations; William Dick, senior estimator; Mike
Ray, senior project manager; and Michele Juba Chambers, director
of human services and communications.

OGMA Names Ringler President
The Ontario Glass and Metal Association (OGMA) has appointed Dieter Ringler
as its new president. Ringler, who is president and owner of Oakville Glass and Mirror,
succeeds Fulton Windows Fred Fulton Jr., who will remain on the
board as secretary.

Harmon Hires New Renovation Manager
Tom Sinnott
Harmon Inc., based in Golden Valley, Minn., has hired Tom Sinnott as its
new renovation manager. Sinnott will be responsible for introducing the renovation
business unit to Chicago-area building owners, property managers and renovation
contractors.
Bringing 25 years of experience to Harmon, Sinnott served as vice president of regional
painting and coatings contractor for Superior Coatings previously. He also worked as
operations manager of the Ameron contract management services division.
In addition, Sinnott has served on the Construction Specifications Institute's board of
directors and is a member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers and Steel
Structures Painting Council.
Management Changes Implemented for Lenhardt Maschinenbau GmbH
Effective December 31, 2001, Karl Lenhardt resigned from his
position as managing director of Lenhardt Maschinenbau GmbH of Neuhausen-Hamberg, Germany,
a division of the Bystronic Group. According to a news release, Lenhardt resigned in order
to spend more time with his family.
"I feel pride in being responsible for building an enterprise that is today regarded
as a very successful and well structured medium-sized machine manufacturer with a
motivated team of loyal and highly qualified employees," Lenhardt said. "I feel
it is my responsibility to hand over the reigns to a younger generation."
Taking hold of the reigns as Lenhardt's successor is Volker Abt. Abt
served as managing director of Schuler Hydroforming, sister company to Schuler AG.

Mike Casey Passes Away
Mike Casey, founder of North Star Glass, died February 2 in
Florida. Casey's two sons, Tim and Mike Jr., are the
current owners of North Star Glass.
Casey was a charter member of the Minnesota Glass Association (MGA). He and his sons were
active in both the glass industry and the MGA. n
