Vistawall Introduces New Line of Thermal Entrances
A new line of thermal entrances that feature a thermally broken door and frame are now available from Vistawall Architectural Products. The entrances are manufactured in narrow, medium and wide stile doors.

According to company information, the entrances are available in sizes up to 4 feet by 8 feet and accept 1-inch glass infills. They are engineered for the Vistawall FG-3000 thermal multipane and HP-1750 window wall storefront systems, as well as the CW-250 curtainwall system.

Operating hardware is also available, including butt hinges, offset pivots and continuous gear hinges. Independently certified tests have been performed to meet a U-value of 0.66 and a CRF value of 52, according to the company.

CRL Offers Array of Sneeze Guard Designs
More than 200 sneeze guard design configurations are now available from C.R. Laurence Co. Inc. (CRL), headquartered in Los Angeles. The sneeze guards are for use in food presentation, and come with either angled fronts with different pitches, in wall-mount, ceiling-mount or freestanding units.

According to company information, sneeze guards are created from component parts or welded assemblies, and are manufactured to conform to NSF® requirements or to customers’ specifications. The tubular partition posts are available in 1 ½-inch and 2-inch diameter styles and can be finished in polished brass, polished or brushed stainless or powder painted. A variety of cap and base styles are available, and four different glass attachment choices are offered that can be used with three different glass thicknesses.

U.S. Aluminum Offers Blast-Resistant Storefront
United States Aluminum of Waxahachie, Texas, has announced its BR604 and BR606 blast-resistant 2 ½- by 5-inch storefront systems have been engineered and successfully tested to withstand explosions from pressure levels of one pound to six pounds per square inch.

According to information from the company, these systems feature the patented Storm Front entrance as well as screw spline assembly for panel-type erection. They also accept 1 5/16-inch insulating, laminated glass.

Pilkington’s Pyroshield™ Available From TGP 
Technical Glass Products (TGP) of Kirkland, Wash., has added Pilkington’s Pyroshield Plus to its product offerings.

According to TGP, Pyroshield Plus is a wired glass that offers both impact safety and fire protection. It is formed by taking traditional wired glass and laminating it with a special interlayer to another layer of clear glass. The company says the product meets CPSC 16CFR1201 (category 1).

Pilkington Pyroshield Plus is UL listed and has a fire rating of up to 90 minutes in doors and up to 45 minutes in other applications.
