Atrium Elects New Board Member
Atrium Companies Inc. of Dallas has elected its president and CEO Greg Faherty, to a seat on its board of directors. “I am very pleased to be invited to join our board,” says Faherty. “I greatly appreciate the vote of confidence this reflects, not just in me, personally, but in our entire management team here at Atrium.”

Faherty has served as president and CEO of the company since 2006. 

New Jersey Fabricator Adds to Its Team
J.E. Berkowitz L.P. (JEB) of Pedricktown, N.J., named Christina Ransome laminated glass products manager. Ransome will assist customers with designing laminated glass product solutions and project estimating for the company’s laminated glass products. Ransome previously was an office manager at Denglas Technologies in Moorestown, N.J.

Linetec Names Regional Sales Manager
Linetec in Wausau, Wis., hired Joe Ramuta as its regional sales manager serving Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. Ramuta has 19 years experience in the window industry. He joins Linetec from its sister company, Wausau Window and Wall Systems.

Morse Hires Reisig as Sales VP
Morse Industries in Kent, Wash., has selected Richard Reisig as vice president of sales. Reisig, who has experience in sales and sales management, will be responsible for increasing market share, capturing competitor business and successfully expanding into new markets, according to information from the company. 

Ohio Gratings Hires New Architect
Ohio Gratings Inc. in Canton, Ohio, hired Jason Richter as its new architect specialist. Richter is responsible for managing architectural sales accounts, monitoring quality standards through sales, detailing and production and assisting with promoting the architectural metal products division. 

PPG Names Krystyniak Manager of Strategic Alliances
PPG Industries in Pittsburgh hired Robert Krystyniak as manager, strategic alliances, for the company’s construction market team. Krystyniak will develop collaborative opportunities in the construction market. He is a sales veteran who is joining PPG from Calgon Carbon Corp where he served as executive director of sales and marketing. 

RiteScreen Selects West Coast Sales Manager
The RiteScreen Co. in Elizabethville, Pa., has named Leonard Rotolo sales manager of its West Coast area. While in his new position, Rotolo will work with the RiteScreen plants in Northern and Southern California, Colorado and Oregon.

CGI Adds Senior Sales Consultant
CGI Windows and Doors Inc. in Miami named Mark A. Walker to the newly created position of senior sales consultant for Southwest Florida. Walker will oversee sales activities for CGI throughout Florida’s Southwest coast including Naples, Sarasota and Tampa. He brings more than 23 years of window and door experience to the sales team.

ADCO Names Northeast Account Manager
ADCO Products Inc. in Michigan Center, Mich., hired Stuart Averbach as an account manager for the Northeast. Averbach has experience in sales, marketing and operations in the construction and adhesive industries. He is a graduate of Penn State.

Vistawall Names New Sales Rep
Vistawall Architectural Products in Terrell, Texas, has named Tim Nelson its sales representative for its South Central Texas region, which includes the areas outside San Antonio and Austin. Nelson will be based in San Antonio. He previously worked as an estimator, project manager and owner of companies in contract glazing.associations

IGMA Announces New Committee Chair
The Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance (IGMA) named Tracy Rogers of Edgetech IG chair of the certification and education committee. Rogers has been involved in the fenestration industry for the past 19 years in the technical and sales and marketing fields. He is currently technical director for Edgetech IG in Cambridge, Ohio. He holds five U.S. patents relating to fenestration products and is an active member of many other industry task groups and committees.

Patio and Door Chief To Retire
Therma-Tru president and chief executive officer Carl B. Hedlund will retire at the end of this year. Hedlund served nearly seven years with the Maumee, Ohio, company that manufactures fiberglass and steel exterior doors. During his presidency, Hedlund led the company through its transition from a family-owned business to its position with Fortune Brands Inc., a Fortune 500 company. 

“While we are happy for Carl, he will be missed,” says Rich Forbes, president and chief executive officer of Fortune Brands Home and Hardware. “Carl was a major contributor to the success, growth and evolution of Therma-Tru.”

New Division at Trainor Leads to New Managers
Ed Trainor is the new division manager for Alsip, Ill.-based Trainor Glass Co.’s new Illinois engineered wall division. Trainor has more than 20 years of experience in all facets of the glass and glazing industry and most recently was the division manager for the company’s Illinois division. 

Paul Rowan is taking over as division manager for the company’s Illinois group. He also has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and was most recently the assistant division manager for the Illinois division.
