InterEdge Expands Production to Northeast
InterEdge Technologies of Sausalito, Calif., a subsidiary of AFG Industries, announced the UL certification of AFG’s Fall River, Mass., branch to produce and distribute non-wired PyroEdge 20 and Schott Pyran ceramic glazing.
“All orders will be turned around in seven to ten days or fewer and will be delivered at no cost to customers in AFG Fall River’s service area,” said Tim Andersen, sales manager.
The company says all InterEdge products have been tested to the “positive pressure” standards mandated by the 2003 IBC codes. Additional plants for the 20-minute PyroEdge include Hebron, Ohio; Phoenix.; Waukesha, Wis.; and Orlando, Fla. Currently, the Hebron facility also fabricates and labels Schott Pyran products.
PyroEdge 20 is listed for use in doors, sidelites and borrowed lites and is available in 1⁄4- and 3⁄8-inch tempered glazing rated for 20- and 30-minute applications without hose stream. www.firesafe-glass.com
GED Integrated Solutions announced that its vinyl equipment manufacturing operations will relocate from Hauppauge, N.Y., to its Twinsburg, Ohio, corporate headquarters. Effective April 1, all vinyl equipment manufacturing will take place in the Ohio facility … Zero International, headquartered in the Bronx, N.Y., appointed GC Sales Associates Inc. of La Costa, Calif., as its sales representative in Las Vegas and Southern California for its product line as well as that of its newest subsidiary, Advantage Lites & Louvers.
