The Max Climber 6000P provides contract glaziers with a lifting capacity of 6,000 pounds and can hold a maximum of 35 passengers. The cabin is 156 inches long and 59 inches wide by 96 inches high, and is available in single- or dual-cabin configurations. It can travel up to 1,000 feet high at a speed of 3 feet per minute. Designed specifically for automated Super Spacer IG production lines, the IntelliClip system is software driven, removing the opportunity for operator error when installing grids.

According to the company, with the IntelliClip system the muntin bar location slit is automatically produced as the spacer is accurately, robotically applied to the glass.

Raytek’s New System Monitors Glass During Tempering 
Raytek Corp. in Santa Cruz, Calif., launched a new GS110 infrared thermal imaging system for low-E glass. This system monitors one-side coated flat glass during the tempering process. 

The GS110 simultaneously measures the temperature on the uncoated side of the glass where the emissivity is both known and significantly higher. The measured data is then transferred to the included Windows-based software, which automatically corrects the thermal image of the topside of the glass to provide a more accurate result. The system allows the user to set-up predefined recipes to accommodate frequent product changes typical in glass processing. An automatic emissivity correction mode adjusts the system to change between different glass loads, such as coated and uncoated glass or different types of coatings.  www.raytek.com
