Our summer has arrived! When summer comes, everyone experiences the sun’s sweltering heat and dangerous ultraviolet rays, along with the blinding glare—everyone, that is, but our customers! I hope you are taking advantage of these elements that help to make summertime sales more plentiful than at any other time of the year.
I would like to congratulate all of those who passed the International Window Film Association (IWFA) Accreditation Tests given at the recent International Window Film Conference and Expo™ (IWFE) in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The solar-control accreditation test and the automotive and safety and security tests, which were given for the first time at the IWFE, were well received. All three programs are a great way to increase your own knowledge (and your staffs’) of our industry’s products and their benefits.
Upon passing any or all of these tests, you can use the accreditation as a powerful marketing tool in your presentations, store displays and print adds. Use your accreditation to help sharpen your professional sales skills and separate you and your company from your competitors, especially if they have not taken the time to take these tests. This added benefit should assist you in closing more sales.
