You Won’t Want to Miss This Great Educational Event—Exclusively for the Window Film Industry!
Offering educational and networking opportunities that focus on the distinct needs of the film industry, the fourth annual International Window Film Conference & Expo™ promises to be valuable to you and your business. The 2002 International Window Film Conference and Expo boasted more than 420 attendees from 32 states and 12 countries, enabling industry members from all over the world to network, connect and learn tips and techniques that would benefit their respective companies long after returning home.
This year we are expanding the conference into the only event exclusively devoted to all aspects of the window film business. You’ll find an expanded seminar program with top-notch speakers and you’ll be able to visit with top companies showcasing the latest products and equipment designed specifically for the film industry. Whether you’re a veteran in the industry or are just thinking of breaking into this exciting business, this is the conference for you!
An Important Educational Event from the IWFA
The International Window Film Association (IWFA) was formed in the late 1980s with an original goal of protecting the industry’s automotive window tinting interests. After this initial task was accomplished, the IWFA evolved into an educational and communications resource to the general industry membership. Additionally, the IWFA provides programs and materials designed to help sustain and build its members’ businesses. The IWFA also partners with other organizations and with government agencies in supporting their programs, which increase consumer awareness and demand for all types of professionally-installed window film products.
The IWFA is pleased to offer quality educational programs and events to all members of the window film industry. This year’s International Window Film Expo promises to be the best ever in doing just that. In response to an industry-wide survey, plans have been made to have experts conduct seminars and roundtable discussions full of information that can help dealers achieve their business goals.
Earn Your Accreditation
Arrangements have been made to offer the following accreditation courses: Solar Control Specialist, Safety and Security Specialist and Automotive Accreditation. Because individuals must have already passed the Solar Control Window Film Specialist test before they can take the Safety and Security Accreditation test, the Solar Control Specialist test will be offered on Friday so that test can be graded to confirm eligibility to take the Safety and Security Accreditation test the next day. Remember you must register directly through the IWFA central office 30 days in advance for all accreditation tests. You will then receive confirmation and study materials directly from the IWFA office. For more information, contact the IWFA directly at 276/666-4932.
Spectacular San Antonio
The International Window Film Conference & Expo is being held at the Adam’s Mark San Antonio Riverwalk Hotel, located at Soledad Plaza. Choose to admire the nearby Riverwalk from the hotel’s sundeck or venture down and explore first-hand over two and a half miles of European-style cobblestone sidewalks filled with cafés, nightclubs, stylish boutiques, parks and hotels. Directly on the Riverwalk is El Mercado (Market Square), the Texas Highway Patrol Museum, the Majestic Theater, the San Fernando Cathedral and the Alamo. Travel through the colorful area on foot, board a river vessel and cruise down the Paseo del Rio or jump on the Texas Trolley for a tour of the historic San Antonio area!
The Adam’s Mark is conveniently located on a scenic bend of the beautiful Riverwalk in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Only ten minutes from San Antonio International Airport, the Adam’s Mark offers all the comforts and conveniences of a modern luxury hotel surrounded by wonderful beautiful scenery in a uniquely historic setting.
