Film in the News Window film is a popular item among consumers, and, as such, stories about it pop up almost every day in newspapers across the world. The Window Film staff has compiled a few on this page that we found interesting. Kraft listed off additional aspects of decorative film, positive selling points for both DIY and professionally installed window film, including the provision of privacy and light, the options of “muted colors and patterns to complement many a décor,” and the fact that window film offers an alternative to traditional window dressings. Kraft recommends the Lowe’s Home Improvement website for a “Window Film 101 crash course.” Zoom Zoom The facility, the Victory Lane Broadcast Center, utilizes window film “to reduce glare or offset sunlight” on the windows of the second story, which houses seven, individually enclosed studios, according to the article. “We’re removing three of the windows that were factory tinted and putting in clear ones,” Scarbro was quoted as saying. The article also noted that Scarbro was asked to apply window film to some of the windows on the library’s third and fourth floors. The movie will chronicle the 1970 plane crash that killed 37 members of the Marshall University football team, 12 coaches, 21 fans and the flight crew. The movie will star Matthew McConaughey (above) as Coach Jack Lengyel, who, along with several surviving members of the team, kept the program going in the wake of the accident. WF |
