Creative with Color
New color choices for the Scotchprint Wrap Film Series 1080 has been introduced
by 3M Commercial Graphics. The addition of matte pink, matte orange, matte
blue metallic, gloss red metallic and satin black bring the available
color options to 39 including carbon fiber, brushed metal textures, matte
and high gloss. According to the company, the 1080 series is a removable
cast film for vehicle detailing, decoration and full wraps.

Accessory to Printing
Roland DGA Corp., has added new accessories to its line of inkjet printers
in conjunction with X-Rite. The new accessories, i1Basic Pro 2 and i1Publish
Pro 2, are compatible with Roland’s wide-format printers and printer/cutters.
i1Basic Pro 2 calibrates monitors to display accurate digital color while
linearizing printers for consistent output. The company is also releasing
other accessories including a new line of anti-static kits from TAKK for
use with Roland 54-, 64- or 74-inch printer or printer/cutter and a Benes
dryer line is now available for customers who purchase a VersaCAMM VS
inkjet printer/cutter with a double white ink configuration.

All the Rage
Johnson Window Films has launched a new automotive film line, Rage. The
recently released film is a two-ply 1.5 mil film with one dyed and one
clear layer of polyester. According to the company, the film is signal
safe with up to 42 percent heat rejection, 93 percent glare reduction
and 99 percent or more UV eliminating. The film is available in VLTs of
50, 43, 35, 20, 15 and 5.
