It’s only March and already the Florida window film market is heating up. This time, however, it’s not the weather. The International Hurricane Protection Association (IHPA) recently announced it has formed a task force aimed at halting what the group is calling misleading advertisements and practices. And window film dealers are among its most wanted. Florida dealers weigh in on their competition.

The window film industry is abound with stories of self-made dealers. The progression from preparer, to installer, to independent shop owner seems natural. But, those who are truly entrepreneurially minded don’t stop at that. One Rockville, Md.-dealer is using the decorative films market to press his business further.
