World's Biggest Float Glass Facility Coming to Vietnam

Construction of world's largest float glass facility is scheduled to start late this year at the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone in the central province of Quang Nam, Vietnam.

The factory is run by Chu Lai Floating Glass Co., which has been set up by the Vietnam Coal and Minerals Industry Group (TKV), the industrial development holdings company and the one-member mining chemicals industrial company limited. TKV contributes 51 percent of investment capital.

The company says the factory has a design capacity of 1,000 tons a day and is scheduled to be operational in two years.
