Al Shapiro, formerly the president of Pittco Architectural Metals in the Chicago area, passed away last Thursday.
Shapiro, who was born in Chicago, was 73 years old at the time of his death.
“He was a major force in our industry and will be sorely missed by all,” says Bill Cole of Glaziers Center.
Arrangements for services are being made at Davenport Family Funeral Home in Barrington, Ill. At press time, plans for a memorial services had not yet been finalized.
