Viracon Sold Out of Glass through April 1, 2015
Owatonna, Minn.-based glass fabricator Viracon is informing its sales reps it cannot accept any new project bookings that require glass prior to April 1, 2015, USGNN.com™ has recently learned.
According to a communication from the company, Viracon’s current lead time for insulating glass units is 19-20 weeks, with a lead time of 14-15 weeks for laminated glass. The company stated it will not be quoting any new projects that need glass before next April.
Viracon does stress, however, that jobs that had already been committed to ship prior to April 1, 2015 will still be followed through.
As of press time, Viracon hadn’t returned a request for comment from USGNN.com. Stay tuned to USGNN.com for updates as they are made available.
