After more than three decades with Vos Glass, Patricia Merryweather is retiring from the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based glass company.

Merryweather joined Vos Glass in 1982 and has served in a variety of functions over the past 33 years, including sales, safety and administration.
“This is a bittersweet occasion for us,” says Vos Glass president Linda Vos-Graham. “We are happy that Pat has exciting plans for a fulfilling retirement, but we will miss her and the sense of history she brought to the workplace. She was close to the company’s founders, Jake and Barb Vos, and she has great stories to tell about the early days.”
The company will hold a retirement celebration for Merryweather Tuesday.
“Throughout her career, Merryweather inspired co-workers with an unwavering dedication to the company and its customers,” reads a company release. “Her decades-long tenure [and] contemporary standards is a testament to both that loyalty and her exceptional, ever-evolving skills.
