Glaston Corp. has closed a deal worth $2.92 million (EUR 2.6 million) with Kuwait-based Amjad Scientific. The transaction includes the Glaston FC500 tempering line and the ProL laminating line, as well as pre-processing machines.
The machines will be delivered during the last quarter of 2015, and the order is booked in Glaston’s second quarter, according to the company.
Amjad Scientific is a first-time customer to Glaston and is new to the glass processing business as a whole.
“We are delighted to deliver the glass processing equipment to Amjad Scientific, who is targeting the position as forerunner in the glass business in Kuwait,” says Pekka Hytti of Glaston.
