Glaston Sells Pair of Furnaces to Chinese Company

Finland-based Glaston Corp. announced it has received a “significant” order from Chinese company Yunnan Diankai Energy Saving Science & Technology Co. Ltd. for two Glaston CCS1000 double-chamber glass tempering furnaces.

The deal is worth approximately $2.67 million (EUR 2.4 million), according to the company, and includes a Glaston Care service agreement, as well as an option for a third CCS1000 furnace. The machines will be delivered during the last quarter of 2015, and the order is booked in Glaston’s third quarter.

Located in Kunming City (Yunnan province) in Southwest China, Yunnan Diankai is a new company covering energy saving float glass technology, processing and nano ceramic technology.
