CGI Windows & Doors made a pair of meaningful donations to its local community this fall—one benefitting the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Training Facility in Doral, and another the local Habitat for Humanity Chapter.
Representatives from the fire rescue training facility received a large selection of windows and doors to be used in firefighter training. Approximately 30-40 training crews will make use of the donated windows and doors.
“We take pride in being an active member of our community, and this includes giving back whenever we can,” says Steven E. Dawson, vice president and general manager of CGI Windows & Doors. “We very much enjoyed hosting a few of our local firefighters at our facility and getting to know them; we’re so grateful for all they do.”
Meanwhile, new hardware, deadbolts and levers were donated to a local Habitat chapter. The items will be used to build homes across the area.
